Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62147
Hi,
I have a question about current limit of TPS62148.
There is the below description on section 9.4.4, P12 of the datasheet(SLVSDR8),
“The TPS62148 is protected against overload and short circuit events. If the inductor current exceeds the current
limit I(LIMF), the high side switch is turned off and the low side switch is turned on to ramp down the inductor
current. “
Is this current limit behavior, high side turned off and low side turned on, latched action?
Meaning does it also continue after this current limit condition is removed ?
Or is it the action only during exceeding the current limit?
Meaning does it go back to normal behavior after this current limit condition is removed?
Also is this current limit value peak current or average current ?
Regards,
