Hi,
in datasheet we have peak source current and peak sink current.
The test condition is:
VCC1 = 3.3 V or 5 V, 0.1-µF capacitor from VCC1 to GND1, VCC2= 15 V, 1-µF capacitor from VCC2 to VEE2, CL = 100pF.
So I think CL represent the gate to source cap of the MOSFET driven by the driver.
Different MOSFETs have different cap, so I guess the source and sink current with the same UCC5320 will change, right?
So how to calculate the source and sink current?
Can I consider gate driver as a voltage source with internal resistance? If it's true, then the peak source current would be Isource= Vcc1/R?
My understanding is that the source and sink current will only influence the turn on and off time of the gate driver, right? So how to calculate the time if we know the source and sink current?
