Hi,

Our battery pack configuration is 2S2P (per cell 3.7V/2200mAh Li-ion).

We would like to find component can support battery protection, gas gauge and cell balancing.

Does BQ28Z610 suit our application especially for 2P?

Based on our application, how to choose cell balancing method? (internal or external)
What's different for two method?

Internal cell balancing is by default provided by the gauge. External balancing requires other FETs if you want to balance with more current.
Use internal balancing as your application is not high power. That way you won't have to worry about config issues.
