TPS53622: SVID addresses of the VCC1P8 & VCCANA rail on Intel Whiskey Lake platform

Part Number: TPS53622

Hi Team,

According to Intel Whiskey Lake PDG, the SVID address should be set to 5d and 6d for the VCC1P8 and VCCANA rail, respectively.

However, looking at Table 5-2 of the TPS53622A datasheet, it seems that the SVID address can't be configured to 5d or 6d.

Does that mean the TPS53622A is not the right device for these voltage rails? If yes, what would be the right device for this?

Thanks!

Roy Hsu

  • Hi Roy, TPS53622 can be set to use these SVID addresses by NVM programming. Set the RADDRL=21k, and program the SVADDR_PGRM bits (in MFR_SPECIFIC_01) to 5d and 6d respectively. You must use NVM programming to do this, as it is not possible by pinstrapping alone.
