BQ27426: Calibration during production

Part Number: BQ27426
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

I am writing because I would like to confirm how this would be performed so we can make appropriate changes to our pcb... As I have read, it is recommended to calibrate at least 10 gauges in the end device and average the numbers to load the right value in the RAM memory.

I could not find the same guide that I am referring to and I do not have an EVM (I only checked with the Tech Reference SLUUBB0). The guide is SLUU426B and looking at the calibration section, it would be:

- CC Offset

- No changes required to hardware

- Board Offset

- Remove load and short Pack- to GND (already performed in my pcb)

- Voltage Calibration

- No changes to hardware, just measure the voltage.

 - Temp Calibration

- No changes to hardware, just measure the temperature.

- Current Calibration

- Connect a load between Pack+ and Pack- (GND). I would need to use 500mA.

Could you please confirm above would be sufficient for the BQ27426? I would also need the I2C lines and GND to be connected to an EV2300 and bqStudio.

For current calibration, can I just isolate the wires that go to Rsense (in my system) and connect a power supply instead?

Thanks in advance for your help!
