BQ33100: Learning mode constant current

Part Number: BQ33100

hello,

I'm confused the constant current circuit enter into learning mode.

can you explain how to implememt the CC ?  how does work for the below parts? D4 , Q7, Q8? why R26=7.5ohm and R27&R28=8.2ohm ?

Thanks

BR

  • The constant current is to provide a a constant load so that the ESR can be measured using a known voltage and current. Basically it follows Q=CV.
The components are per the reference design used to provide constant current. There is no further explanation here.
  • of course i know:The constant current is to provide a a constant load so that the ESR can be measured using a known voltage and current.
The answer is how to keep constant? In the DS P54 applicaiton schematic, what's the function of D4, Q7 and Q8? why choose R26=7.5ohm and R27=R28=8.2ohm? thanks
  • I'm sorry, this part was designed a long time back and the systems and design engineers decided on those values. Please follow the reference.
