TINA/Spice/TPS650250: P SPice model Required for the part

I need the P spice model of the above mentioned IC as early as possible. I couldn't find it in tools and software Tab of the same.

Kindly provide the same.

    You are correct, at this time no models exist for simulating the TPS650250 PMIC device. Unfortunately, it is not common for PMICs to have simulation models.

    I have entered a request to create this model, but creating new part models can take a significant amount of time before they are completed.

    If you could elaborate more on why you need the model, then I will work with the team to prioritize your request.

    Also, if you have any specific questions on the TPS650250 device I may be able to answer them directly without a simulation model.

    What type of processor/FPGA/SoC will you be powering with the TPS650250 PMIC?

    I am using AMIC110 controller. Is it ok if I use TPS65910A3A1RSL PMIC for the controller instead of TPS650250. As I am having my processor board for AM3358 which is with TPS65910A3A1RSL part and AMIC110 is pin drop replacement for AM3358. However in the evaluation board of AMIC110 following part is used TPS650250.

    Can you please guide for the same.

  • Yes, you can continue to use TPS65910 (TPS65910A3A1RSL) as PMIC for AMIC110.

    AMIC110 is cost-reduction from AM335x, and TPS650250 is cost-down for TPS650250. The only difference is that the PMICs are not pin-to-pin compatible.

    For future designs, you can consider using TPS65218D0 and TPS65216 as power for AM335x and AMIC110, respectively. These two PMICs are pin-to-pin compatible.
