UCC27282: Minimum Input turn-on and turn-off time

Part Number: UCC27282
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC27712

Hello,

Is there a minimum input turn-on or turn-off time for the UCC27282? For the UCC27712 there is a minimum turn-on time of 25ns and turn-off time of 35ns. However, I do not think the UCC27282 has this limitation and I would like to confirm.

I am looking at using one of these two controllers with a buck converter operating at 600kHz.

Thanks,

Kyle

  • Hi Kyle,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Would it be possible for you to provide more details such as customer, application, topology, and operating parameter details?

The UCC27282 has rise/fall time, propagation delay, and minimum pulse width specifications as shown in the datasheet..

To guarantee good output pulse width across process, voltage, and temperature,  we ask customers to put at least 20ns at the input.

In the lab, we have reproduced even 10ns pulse on the output.

Please let us know if we could help in any way.

    Regards,

    Ritesh

  • Thanks Ritesh,

I accidentally missed that parameter in the datasheet. This is for a buck converter operating at 600Khz. That answers the question!

    Thanks,
    Kyle
