BQ76930: Schematic Review after failure analysis

Hi team,

About 1% failure rate has been found in the production of customer.

After FA, it is found that Pin 3, 6, 7 and for some others Pin 3, 6, 30 is short.

So customer need some suggestions for their design.

Could you please provide a contact window, then I could provide the schematic and FA report to you by email.

    Hi Robin,
    Pins 6 and 7 are TS1 and CAP1, these are associated with temperature measurement and boot.
    Pin 30 is ALERT, generally expected to go to an MCU.
    In general avoid sending overvoltage to a pin, avoid opportunity for coupling signals onto the lower voltage signals.
