UC1525A: difference with UC1527A

Hi team,

I notice the difference between UC1525A and UC1527A is that in UC1527A the output stage uses a OR logic while in UC1525A it is NOR logic, which means the output of the two part is inverted. So I'm afraid one of the two part may form positive feedback, am I right?

If yes, how to determine which device should be used?

Hey George,

The Nor logic/Or logic doesn't effect the feedback loop it just inverts the duty cycle.

The reason for this difference is the UC1525A will work better with NFETs and the UC1527A will work better with PFETs.
