TPS1663: Pin define

Hi,

Here are some question about TPS1663:

1. In TPS16630-32EVM, pin 24 is Vin and pin 19 is Vout, but in datasheet, these 2 pins are all NC, which one we should follow?

2. in TPS16630-32EVM, all NC pin are connected to GND, can I just leave them floating?

3. Why connect them to GND? Is there any reason?

Hello C.T,

The pin-out provided in the datasheet of TPS1663 is the final pin-out for production release of the device.

Currently; the pre-production samples (PTPS16630RGE) have pin out given the EVM user's guide(http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvubi9/slvubi9.pdf ) .[Pin24 to VIN and Pin19 is Vout]

You can leave NC pins floating.

NC pins (Pin20 to Pin23) are connected to GND on the EVM for enhanced thermal performance.
