WEBENCH® Tools/LM5116: i can't able to simulate the LM5116 regulator for the 7 to 35 v Input and 48v 5A output

Hi sir,,

we need the application to boost the voltage from 7 to 35 v input into 48v @5A output. but i can't able to simulate using webench.

LM5116 can not support for this much current?

or if it is support how to i confirm my circuit?

 Please suggest me any other IC having capability for 48v@ 5A from the 7 to 35v?

    Hello,

    The LM5116 is a buck controller, so Webench will only support a step down design (i.e. 35 to 7V; not 35V to 48V). You can go to the Webench design tool and search based on your input/output range and then chose a device from here.
