UCC28070A: Fault Detection Output

My customer system needs a fault detection output (e.g. OVP, UVLO thermal shutdown) of PFC in order to communicate with inverter which is connected to the output of the PFC.

Do you have any good idea to get error signal from UCC28070A or build diagnostics circuit?

Hello Kazuki Itoh,
The fault protections of the UCC28070A are in-built into the ic and have no external output .
A fault will trigger a shutdown as described in the data sheet but there is no external fault indication flag output .
I believe you will need to build an external network to detect and indicate the faults for the diagnostics that you require for your application.

I'm going to build external diagnostics circuit.

According to functional block diagram, it seems possible by monitoring CSOA, CSOB or GDA, GDB.

Do you have any reference design which enables to detect the PFC fault?
