BQ78350-R1: capacity learning

Part Number: BQ78350-R1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76930, BQ78350, GPCCEDV

Hello TI Experts,

I am using two BQ76930 and one BQ78350 for my 20s project,

And I'd like to know how to do capacity learning

I have referred to the document"Simple Guide to CEDV Data Collection for Gauging "

And I have collected the hightemp_highrate.csv    hightemp_lowrate.csv   roomtemp_highrate.csv    roomtemp_lowrate.csv   lowtemp_highrate.csv    lowtemp_lowrate.csv

And update it to http://www.ti.com/tool/GPCCEDV?keyMatch=gpccedv&tisearch=Search-EN-Everything

I'd like to know  what should I do with the data from TI website, Should I update the data to the GPCPackager in the bq studio?

  • Hi Qianqian,

There are seven CEDV parameters in the report from the GPCCEDV tool that should be programmed into the bq78350 Data Memory:

    • EMF (EMF)

    • EDVC0 (C0)

    • EDVC1 (C1)

    • EDVR1 (R1)

    • EDVR0 (R0)

    • EDVT0 (T0)

    • EDVTC (TC)

After you update these settings in the dataflash, you can save the new settings. Make sure to do some testing with the new settings to see if you are getting accurate results from the gauge.

    Best regards,

    Matt
