(1) DCR022405 block diagram, LDO is BUCK architecture, right?

(2) Under dual-source output, can DCR022405 be used to isolated converter IC and output terminals with bipolar body to prevent power inversion?

(3) If DCR022405 uses overload (> 2W), what is the way of protection?

    Hi,

    1. Yes the LDO architecture in this device is a BUCK (step-down) where output voltage is generally regulated from a higher input voltage
    2. Two DCR022405 can be connected in a dual polarity voltage to generate an isolated negative and positive output voltage if desired. This is seen in Section 8.1.3.
    3. Based on the datasheet specs this device has short circuit and thermal shutdown protection.
