BQ40Z50-R1: the issue of ASCD function and settings

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R1

When we do the external short circuit test in discharge, we found the ASCDL couldn't remain latched in protected state until the short-circuit load is removed. I set NR=1 as a non-removable battery, and the PRES pin is connected to GND. I used a resistor of 40mΩ to connect both ends of the output without removing it for a period of time. I catched the voltage and it would recovery every 15s (ASCD:Reset time) and open the DSG MOSFET, then detect the short circuit current and protect again. Such a shock will demage the DSG MOSFET and directly short the cells. According to the certification test requirements, the battery need to remain in short circuit for 7 hours.

So do you have any idea how to set parameters to keep short circuit protection and DSGFET off state until short circuit disconnecting? (EXCEPT setting NR=0)

FYI, ASCD related parameters are set as follows.Looking for your reply. Thanks.
