Can the bq27742's internal temperature sensor be used to sense cell temperature when the die is in contact with a Li+ battery? Can it be read via the I2C interface? Will it serve to protect the battery?
If so, can the TS input and thermistor be used to sense a different point in the device, e.g., a can motor casing? How can this be done in an elegant manner?
