TPS61232: BOOST DESIGN FOR Li-Ion BATTERY

Hello Sir,

I am using TPS61232 boost converter in my new design. I need 5v boosted output from li ion battery and a load sharing circuit.

Please check my schematics and kindly comment on it.

Hi Monisha,

What's the maximum load current? In your schematic, I didn't find load sharing circuit.
Do you have any concern on HYS because you put a TP1 on this pin.

You should use: R97=402k R133=100k.

Hello Jing Ji,
Iam using fixed 5V boost converter, thats why I connect VFB directly to VOUT.
Is the value for resistor required?

Hello Zack Liu,

Maximum load current is 2A.The output of load sharing is given to input of boost converter.Here i only attached the boost converter schematics.
TP1 is provided on Hys for any future use.

Hi Monisha,

TPS61232 could deliver output current up to 2.1A at 5V output voltage with 3.3V input voltage. What's minimum voltage of the li ion battery you are using now?
If you want to use HYS as undervoltage lockout, please refer to part 8.3.4 circuitary.
