Hello

The Layer costs for bga are coming too high. We prefer qfn therefor.

Furthermore we need:

I2C

4 LED per String (10mA)

4 Strings

Unfortuntately the spec is not detailing these requirements in ONE item.

Or is there another way ....?

Hi Thomas,
Since you have the I2C interface, so I think every QFM version is ok for your requirement, because the you can change the seeting with I2C interface. The different version is uaually provide for some customers who don't have the I2C interface.

I am not sure how to understand the doc correctly. Please could you give guidelines how to understand the chapter 5 - Device Options?

For all QFNs it sayas "PWM Only". Do you mean I can use I2C anyway?

Furthermore, I do not want to provide any external PWM and clocking.

Is this possible with WFN?

Hi Thomas,
It's easy for understanding about this chaper, those version was listed for some costomer who don't have the I2C interface in their system, for our devices, all version can use I2C to change the internal regs setting. So of course, you can use the I2C to set the regs , you can use the internal analog dimming or pwm dimming mode. So forget the chapter 5, and you can choose either version as long as you have I2C to communicate with our devices.
