Hi,

We got a question from the customer about LMR23625-Q1.
Could you help us?

They are considering using small size ceramic capacitor(0.1uF,16V,0603) for the bootstrap capacitor. They are concerned about that the effective capacitance badly affects to the operation. How much is the recommended minimum effective capacitance of the bootstrap capacitor?

Hi Tateo,

Using a 0.1uF, 16V, 0603 capacitor will be okay as long as this is of X7R or X5R material. An example of a capacitor that we used during testing is GRM188R71E104KA01D.

You can also choose to increase the capacitance up to about .47uF (16V, 0603, X7R or X5R.

Hi, Thank you for your reply.

They will check that the IC can maintain the BOOT voltage than BOOT UVLO, or not. Therefore they would like to know the variation of BOOT UVLO. Could you provide the data of BOOT UVLO?
