UC3846: how to use 3842 for full bridge high frequency inverter in current control

I think that your application require constant voltage with a constant current limit on the secondary side.

You can implement this with either of the above PWM controllers and with the TL103WA dual opamp with internal reference .

A block schematic is attached below:

You can see that there are two feedbacks to the control loop.
From no load up to full load the output voltage is controlled by OPAMP1 . This is the voltage sense loop.

For higher currents up to short circuit the output current is controlled (fixed) with OPAMP2. This is the current sense loop.
This is the most used method of control for battery charging and constant current LED drivers.

Hi Gudelli,
The outputs of the OPAMPs need to be connected to the inverting pin of your feedback network.
As the error signal from the feedback increases then the PWM has to decrease.
So the signal from the OPAMPs is required to increase the signal on the inverting pin of your pwm controller.

These values are set by your design requirements.
The values are your charging current and what is your maximum output voltage.
