TPS61196: OVP resistor

Part Number: TPS61196

According datasheet, the bottom resistor of OVP setting is recommended 10kohm.

If the resistor is lower than 10kohm , what is concerned?

Hi K H,
Actually there is no special requirement for this value, ther are just some consideration about choosing this vaue: (1) Considering the bias current flow from Vout through this two resistor to GND, the low vaule will increase the power consumption;(2) you 'd better not choose too large value, because this may have effect on the input impedence of the internal error amplifier. So 10k may be the better balanced value for this one.
