LM25019: I want to use lm25019 ic in Flybuck topology with output of 5.2 volt at isolated side

Part Number: LM25019
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5017

Good morning

I currently using the lm25019 ic for my project, but I read some article on Flybuck topology and read data on lm5017-19 ic.  I simply used  1:1 coupled inductor instead of single inductor given in applications note,  but now i am not getting required isolated output of 5.1 volt at isolated side.

Please help me with these, looking forward to it.

Thanks

  • Hello,

The LM25019 should work in a similiar topology to the LM5017/19 IC. Can you share your schematic? Also what is the performance that you see at the isolated output side?

    Thank you,
    Katelyn
  • Hello,

I want to follow up with you on this e2e thrad. Would you be able to answer some clarifying questions?

Would you be able to help answer some clarifying questions? Can you share your schematic?

Do you have any specific questions about the formulas? Or is your board performing differently than you expect?

    Thank you,
    Katelyn
  • Good morning madam

I recently having trouble in attaching the schematic on fourm, but i use the same circuit shown in lm25019 application circuit given in the datasheet with minor changes in feedback resistor and inductor value. My feedback resistor value is 15k and  1k and inductor of 69 micro henry. Yesterday I also try the powerbench software for design the lm25019 through this software but every time software has unable to built isolated design from the software.

Please also tell me how to attach the schematic file on these forum so i can send circuit diagram to you.

    Thanks

    Sourabh

  • Hi Sourabh,

The best way to attach your schematic is to choose the "Insert Code, Attach Files and more..." Then you can attach the schematic as a file.

Unfortunately, the LM25019 software does not support the isolated output.

    Best Regards,
    Katelyn
  • Hello mam
My input voltage range form minimum 10 volt to 30 volt max and a nominal input voltage of 12.
  • Hello Sourabh,

I would recommend that we continue our discussion on one e2e thread. This will help organize the discussion. I am going to close this thread, but let's continue discussing on your second thread.

    Best Regards,
    Katelyn
