BQ27542-G1: Could the supply power always keep at 5.3V

Hi,Sir:

For test purpose, we want to keep the supply power of BQ27542-G1 always keep 5.3V max,

that means the cells's max voltage is 5.3V,

is that OK for long run test ?

the time maybe very long about 30*24hrs.

No, for a 1s config, you will end up damaging your cells. The bq27542-G1 has no fet control for charging. So, if your host can't control your charger, then at 5.3V, you are going to damage your cells.

We don't have a real cell,

we want to use 5.3V max power supply to instead of the real cell.

not charge with 5.3V at real cell directly.

Need your help to double check again.

you shouldn't use 5.3V to mimic a cell. Most batteries have a 4.5V max configuration. You will not be achieving anything using 5.3V to mimic the cells. If you however insist, the max voltage that pin can handle is 6V, so the IC wouldn't be damaged
