LM5069: 150V current limmitting switch

Hi team,

Our customer is looking for current limiting switch or e-fuse for inrush current control of a power source..

Input voltage range is DC 60V to 150V.

UCC2921 is one example product having near feature, which has floating input power source architecture.

On the other hand, LM5069 etc. are up to 80V or more but not reaching to150V.

We will be very appreciating your help.

    Thanks for reaching on this requirement. Can you please share the application use case and end equipment details.
    Is 150V the steady state operating condition or transient voltage spec?

    Hi Ralensh,

    Thank you for your prompt reply.

    Customer application conditions are as following.

    Input voltage : DC 110V DC70V(MIN) to DC150V(MAX)

    Output current : up to 300mA

    Output capacitor : 47 x2 (Chemical 250V)  10uF x2(ceramic)

    Output is converted down to 24V 20W with isolated DC/DC.

    Input is switched ON and OFF with all load connecting, including DC/DC.

    Thanks for more information.
    Unfortunately, we do not have device to support 110V operating voltage. The best available device from higher voltage perspective is LM5069 i.e., up to 80V.
