TPS3808: Please help recommend Zynq-7000 series SOC chip power supply monitoring chip.

Part Number: TPS3808
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS386000, TPS386040, TPS3306, TPS3850, TPS3307

Want a chip to monitor four-way voltage, respectively, 1.0V internal nuclear power supply, 1.8V analog power supply, 1.5V DDR power supply, 3.3V IO power supply.

Because there is no chip model to ask questions and the response time is too long, the TPS3808 model is used.

  • Hi Rengui,

Have you looked into the quad channel TPS386000 family?

I believe this product can work for your situation as a single device solution.

  • Hi Marcoo,

If watchdog used. How to disable it when programing or startup?
The programming time of the processor is 10s, and the startup time is 30s. How to block the watchdog signal in these two states. The TPS386040 watchdog runs after RESET1 is released. The time of  processor programing and startup is longer than the watchdog time. The MAX706 watchdog is disable when floating WDI or connecting WDI to a high-impedance three-state buffer.

  • Hi Rengui,

    You cannot on TPS386000/40 family.
You would need a multi-chip solution. Either TPS3850/1 + TPS3307. Or TPS3306 + single rail supervisor. Our only devices with WDI disable are usually limited to single rail or TPS3306. TPS3306 is a 2/3 rail supervisor with a high impedance disable on WDI.
