TPS2041B: Use of TPS2041B at 0.7A occasionally

Part Number: TPS2041B

Almost all of the devices I have use 0.5A or less.  There is one device I have, a USB HDD, that uses 0.7A continuously.  The TPS2041B never trips due to over-current.  Is it OK to use it occasionally for this device?
