Hi Igor:
If the output voltage would below the VIN, I don't think a Boost is good choice.

I need to make a generator with adjustable frequency from 0 to 16 kHz and adjustable amplitude from 0 to 80V. The output signal is pulses (0-80V, 0-16kHz, 10mA).
To begin, I decided to make a voltage regulator from 5 to 0-80V with control on the microcontroller, but so far I do not know how to do it.

Hi Igor:
I recommended power amplifier to you. You could use a boost like LM5155 with 80V Vout, and use the AMP to adjust the Vout.
And the detail solution is depended on you, I could do limit help .
