BQ27542-G1: Full charge termination

Part Number: BQ27542-G1

Hi,

This question from our customer.
When you do how to use that does not detect Full Charge Termination, do you have a long-term effect on precision of the Impedance Track?

Best Regards,
PAN-M

  • Hi Pan-M
There is an FC flag which gets set when you are fully charged. You can set FC to be set by primary charge termination which is based on taper current and taper voltage conditions (recommended method) or based on SOC where you get to set the FC set% to a particular value. It is important that that flag gets set as the gauge uses that to determine DOD@EOC which is a key parameter for the accuracy of IT.
    thanks
