My customer is considering TPS61088 and TPS61089 for battery application and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

Regarding TPS61088 and TPS61089.

According to the attached application note(Slyt412), Iq(Vin) and Iq(Vout) are not enough to think battery life.

It needs to know Iin., but datasheet doesn't describe.

Because Iq(Vout) is supplied from Vin.

Are there any reference data about Input Current (Iin) data at no load.

    Thank you for your interests. the IC datasheet can only specify the Iq. For Iin, it is Iq plus the Vout sensing resistor divider leak current.

    Iin = Iq(Vin) + Iq(Vout) + 1.3V /Rf2

    where Rf2 is the lower side resistor of the Vout sensing divider.

    Hope this clarifies.
