I want to design 300w buck-boost converter. for this purpose, i decide to using LM5118. is that coorect for chosen power rating or you suggest another controller?

I'd recommend to check LM5176 which is synchronous 4-switch buck boost controller. LM5176 is developed as a higher power version of LM5118 and upgraded version of LM5175. Also please check the LM5175 high power design as an example at www.ti.com/.../lm5175evm-hp
