I am working with “bq27425-G2 System-Side Impedance Track Fuel Gauge With Integrated Sense Resistor datasheet (Rev. B)”. It is seems that it is not aligned with the Battery Management Studio ( bqStudio )

Version : 1.3.54.1 .

According to what reference should I refer?

Is there an updated datasheet available?

Bqstudio is what we should rely on. We are constantly working on improving our data sheets. Thanks for pointing out the misalignment.

Ok.
It is really seems that bqstudio is more up to date.
BUT, I need explanations and descriptions for the new registers structure and data memory new blocks.
Without these it will be difficult to tune the BQ27425-G2A Fuel Gauge for proper operation and calibration.
Even an application note describes these changes will be acceptable.

hi Tsach

i would recommend keeping those registers as default with the exception of the following:

-set Ranoqmax flag, this allows ra updates even though a qmax update may have not occurred,
-keep relaxrcjump ok flag set := Allows SOC to change due to a temperature change during relaxation when the SOC smoothing
algorithm is enabled
-disable FCONV. This is known to cause issues with variable load currents.

pls as a temporary solution refer to the trm of other devices like the bq27421 and the bq27520 and bq27542
