LM3410: 3Vin, 20Vout, 250mA. Is this possible?

Hello,

I was trying to go through the datasheet and calculate thermal and boost capabilities of this device, but I've gotten a bit stuck.

Is this device capable of 3V input, 18-20V output, 250mA output?

    I would think it is possible, the rough calculations seem to show that. What are you running into? Peak current, depending on inductor value, and duty cycle seem within limits.

    Hey Irwin,

    "Depending on inductor value" is the same conclusion I came to as well. Thermals seem to be within margin as long as the MSSOP Power Pad Package is used. I just wanted a quick double check before I moved forward with this as a suggestion.
