TPSM84624: TPSM84624 on-package small capacitance?

Hello,

I was wondering if your TPSM84624 and TPS82130/40 have on-package small capacitance for high frequency noise?  If not, is that something I should add to the output of those regulators besides just my bulk?

    These devices do not have any output capacitance included on the module. The amount and type of required capacitance is listed in the datasheet for each device. Typically, 10uF-20uF of ceramic capcitance is required and additional ceramic or bulk can be added for better ripple or transient performance. Higher frequency ceramics can also be added but are usually not required.

    Hi David,

    The TPSM84824/TPSM84624 has a 10nF and 0.1uF ceramic capacitor on the output for high frequency noise purposes. I don't believe the TPS82130 has any high frequency output caps inside the package. These output capacitors are not required for proper operation if tight on PCB space.
