CCS/BQ34Z950: Regarding Bq34z950 Charging MosFet

Here are Few more correction.

A) The CHG Pin and MOSFETs works Fine. Q1 and Q3 Vgs = 10V.

B) If I remove the MOSFET Q2 and Q8 the Vgs = 15V. same voltage I apply on PACK. IF I Place MOSFETs Vgs = 2.2V. MOSFET get heat up a lot(100 degC within 5 Sec at 1A Output Load)

C) I have connected 4 Cells in series each of 4.2V that makes it a pack of 16.8V battery voltage.

D) If I remove the voltage from PACK pin DSG MOSFET turns OFF.

Any Suggestion What I am doing wrong and How can I resolve it.

You are not turning on the FET completely. Check out figure 8 here, assets.nexperia.com/.../PSMN0R9-25YLD.pdf.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry but I know that the reason for FETs to get heat up is Vgs. But it is provided by the BQ34z950. How can I resolve this.

You've connected Q8 wrong. That's for reverse charger connection, remove that or connect it correctly and you'll be OK.

Q8 is just connected to reduce Rds ON we made to MOSFETs Q2 and Q8 in parallel.
And I also checked after removing this. No effect after removing this.

Can Anyone Help me If it require to set any Bit to work. I am Connecting It in Charging mode and non of the mosfets turn ON. Please Help...!!!!!!

registers wise you are ok. you also are in fast chg, so I guess it's a hw issue. I'll confirm with our systems engineers and inform you in 2 days or less.
