There is switch between the VINX pin and VIN pin on the LM5170-Q1 as shown below.


What is the current spec(maximum rating) of the switch?

    Hi David,

    Thank you for your interests in the LM5170-Q1. This switch is not intended for high current. It is mainly used to charge up the RAMP capacitors. To mitigate the failure when a RAMP pin is accidentally grounded, the FET's current is also internally limited to about 20mA.
