Hi,
Are there's any test setup/procedure recommended to measure OVP/OVC for BQ24075? Assuming i'm using customized charging current. Thanks.
Regards,
Leo

Hi,
I think you can reference datasheet 9.3.3 setion to create testing setup.
At first, please use scope to measure (1) VIN (2) OUT (3) PGOOD signal at the same time.
Second, please use power supply which can program output voltage. Initially program Vin=5V, then program Vin=7V
Based on above testup, you will observe Vin, OUT and PGOOD signal to verify OVP function is correct or not.
Thanks
9.3.3 Overvoltage Protection (OVP)
The bq2407x accepts inputs up to 28 V without damage. Additionally, an overvoltage protection (OVP) circuit is
implemented that shuts off the internal LDO and discontinues charging when VIN > VOVP for a period long than
tDGL(OVP). When in OVP, the system output (OUT) is connected to the battery and PGOOD is high impedance.
Once the OVP condition is removed, a new power on sequence starts (see Power On ). The safety timers are
reset and a new charge cycle will be indicated by the CHG output.
