Hi, team,
I heard the Remaining Capacity and SOC accuracy in bq27426 is 5%. Will the accuracy (5%) be effective after QMAX_UP bit and RES_UP bit in Control() are set?
Regards,
Nagata.

Hi, Onyx -san,
Could you please support below questions?
1. What is difference between StateOfChargeUnfiltered and StateOfCharge? I guess StateOfChargeUnfiltered is calculated from raw value and StateOfCharge is calculated from valule using with digital-filter of unfilterd Remaining Cap and unfilterd FOC. Is my understanding correct?
2. Is there guide line for reserve capaciy? Should user set the reserve capacity as 5%(accuracy) + x%(reserve capacity)?
Regards,
Nagata.
Hi Nagata
1. Yes that understanding is correct. Filtred SOC allows for a more user friendly experience such that the customer doesn't see Jumps in SOC due to temp change or load changes except it you hit empty or full charge
2.That is user dependent. it depends on how much capacity your controller needs to perform a controlled shutdown. That should be your guidance.
thanks
Onyx
