Dear Team,

DCM at light loads will skip the pulses, won't it?

What factors will effect to the interval periods of pulse skip?

Will the condition of FSW affect to the interval period of pulse at light load?

Hi Takahashi-san,

At light loads the switching frequency will decrease linearly with the load current, the system will react accordingly to the load needs allowing also to maintain high efficiency.

What is your concern regarding the frequency of the system at light loads?
