I've searched all over the TI web site and can't locate anything on programming the bq24195. I'll be using it in both charger and boost modes and controlling it with the MSP430FR2633 Capacitive Touch Sensing MCU.

The attached file is previous FW tool which can communicate with BQ2419x EVM board, not sure is this tool you search.

You can use USB-to_GPIO interface tool(EV2300 or EV2400) to link with EVM.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for responding! I have the bq24195 EVM & GUI, CapTIvate EVM & GUI and a USB to GPIO adapter. What I cant find, and it’s probably right in front of me, is a list of commands and register map for the bq24195 so I can write my code.

Hey Vernon,

The register map is in at the end of the datasheet in section 8.5 Register Map. In there, you will find all the bits to control and monitor the charger.

I guess I was paging too fast, but when I went to 8.5 it was right there! I feel foolish now, but I'm on the right path and that's the most important thing.
