I have one question about TPS2490/2491

I found the IC can't power on with loading by EVM board. Is't right?

The load setting just 1A.

Our application need power on with loading, we want to know how to setting with this case.

Vin=55V

Can you let me know your max input voltage, max load current and output capacitance.
What is the startup load ? and end application?

Sorry for late,

The condiion as below:

Max Vin = 60V

Max Load = 30A

Output capacitance = 100uF

I just use original EVM board from TI provided.

it didn't change any component.

Hi Lucifer,

Thanks for the details.
The EVM board is configured with Plim of 50W. We need to increase Plim value to startup the system with startup load.
Make R3=R4 and try..
However, it is recommended to use PG assert of the device to enable downstream load so that stress on MOSFET will be less during startup.

If your load is 30A, I suggest to use LM5069 which offers superior short circuit performance over TPS2490.
