BQ34Z100-G1: Calibration trouble

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hi,

I am using a BQ34z100-g1 with an 8s2p LiFePO4 batteries. The nominal capacity of the battery is 3200mAh.

I have obtained the golden image of the battery and load it in the bq24z100-g1.

When I try to calibrate the pack voltage with bqStudio 1.3.54.1 i can not do it. I always obtain the same error

Calibration - Calibration cell voltage entered is out of range. This value is in millivolts. Please check value and retry.

I have tried to use the newest version of bqStudio (1.3.86.3) but it does not work either. I was told in this forum that a new version of bqStudio was going to be launched at 2018 final months but I am still waiting.

What can I do in the production phase to calibrate the devices?

Best regards,

  • Hi Gorkea,

Please upgrade to the latest version of bqStudio (1.3.86.3). Please perform a clean install.

If the error still persists, please ensure that series = 1 and flash update ok voltage = 0.

If the error still persists, flash the gauge with the default SREC and try again.

If the error still persists, please let us know.

    Sincerely,
    Bryan Kahler
