UCC28950: When the comp terminal over 2.8 v

Part Number: UCC28950

hi

What kind of motion does the IC take when the COMP pin exceeds 2.8 V?

  • dear,

I am not fully clear you question. I hope below reply which can help to you .

COMP pin voltage level is controlled by voltage loop compensation and CS pin voltage level( current sense).  COMP voltage level is under 2.8V in  normal operating mode. if  you found the COMP voltage level is exceed 2.8V, you can reset  CS voltage (reset the Rcs current sense resistor) to  lower parameter.

by the way, you need to confirm the COMP pin voltage under 5.4V absolute value to ensure IC safe working.

    thanks
