I am trying to get ready to submit for files from bqstudio logs.  My question is regarding collecting data. Does one start the log from the time one starts charging the battery or can that step be ignored?

Is it required that charging of the battery also be included from the logs?

    Hi Dalip,

    The answer depends on which gpc tool you are using. If you are using gpcchem, the charge+relax+discharge+relax log is required.   For more information, please refer to the gpcchem guide, found here: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva725a/slva725a.pdf

    If performing a learning cycle lithium ion / polymer based chemistries a charge+relax+discharge+relax cycle is required. If using an alternative chemistry, for a learning cycle, a charge+relax+discharge+relax+charge+relax+discharge+relax is required.
