Does UCD3138 has any fool-proofing mechamism to provent the fw download to wrong device?Thanks.

Yes, the GUI does prevent the FW from being downloaded to the wrong device.

GUI compares the "device ID" in the firmware with the device ID on the physical device and if it does not match it will warn the user.
