TPS25982: Using LDSRT to force reboot

Part Number: TPS25982

Hello E2E,

From reading section 8.4 in the datasheet and had some remaining questions about the LDSTRT.  Mainly this section:

"Except the LDSTRT fault, all the other faults can also be reset by an internal auto-retry logic which can be either disabled or configured by user to perform a limited or infinite number of retries with a programmable delay between retries. The auto-retry behaviour is controlled by the connections on the RETRY_DLY and NRETRY pins."

We would like to use it as a way to force a reboot of the system, but the excerpt makes me think we can't do that.  It sounds like once a LDSTRT fault is triggered we have to cycle main power or the enable pin somehow.  Is that accurate?

Thanks!

Russell
