  • Hi Pengfei,

Please use bqStudio to perform this task instead of EVSW. Assuming the gauge was configured with bqStudio and not EVSW the steps above should be:

    1. Start bqStudio for the bq34z100-G1
    2. Enter the Data Flash window and push the Read All button
    3. Click on the export button to save the pre-learned defaults, e.g., optimized gg.csv.
    4. Open the saved file in a text editor such as Notepad, and change the value of Update Status from 06 to 02, which indicates that the parameters are learned but IT is disabled (as it should be in a new pack before calibration). Also, the cycle number can be changed to 1. Save the modified gg.csv file.
    5. Open the chemistry tab and select the chemID and click 'program chemistry' to program the device with the correct chemical ID to clear the hidden data-flash constants
    6. Open the Data Memory tab and click import to write the modified gg.csv file back into the device.
    7. Open the Golden image tab in bqStudio and ensure SREC, DFFS and BQFS are selected to export all 3 types data-flash images to be used in production.

Please let me know if there are any issues or if you would like to amend the above steps.

    Sincerely,
    Bryan Kahler
