Hi Team,

Kindly advise can we reduce the TPS62088 output filtering capacitance to just 1x 10uF, instead of 2x 10uF as shown in the TPS62088 datasheet ?

Believe that the output ripple voltage increase and larger voltage drop during transient load.

Would there be any impact to the circuit stability ?

Hello,
Reduce the output capacitance (for a fixed LC configuration), going out of the range of what is specified in the datasheet, it is not recommended. In these cases, it is necessary to check the stability for each application. Anyway, in your case, you can reduce the capacitor (1x10uF) as stated in table 5 of the datasheet (page 11) if you choose the inductance (reported in the table, 0.24 uH and 0.33 uH).
