LMG1210EVM-012: High Frequency PWM Controller

The LG1210 Power stage has a capability of operating up to 50MHz.

But you give no indication of a PWM control that will take advantage of this high frequency.

Can you recommend a FIXED FREQUENCY PWM controller that would allow a closed loop bandwidth that will take advantage  that of your new LMG1210?

    Hi Alan,

    thanks for your question on LMG1210, welcome to e2e!
    The highest closed loop BW controller is from the UCD3138 and family.
    It has a BW of 2MHz as the error amp samples the output voltage every 500ns.
    The controller can output 50MHz PWM signals however the closed loop BW is capped by the 2MHz error amp.
    What is your application? why do you need 50MHz switching? what GAN fet are you using?
    are you thinking about using a synchronous bootstrap?
