Regarding the TPS65400 & the EVAL BRD (SLVUAC4):
1. Do you have EMI information about this device?
a. Our intent is to use it in our Infusion PUMP that has some EMI regulations
2. Regarding the EVAL BRD SLVUAC4 : the datasheet says “The evaluation module is designed to provide access to the features of the TPS65400. Some modifications can be made to this module to test performance at different input and output voltages for bucks. Please contact the TI Field Applications group for advice on these matters.”
a. We would like to test with different (higher voltages, up to 12 V), can we do this just by changing Vref, or should we change the feedback resistors?
b. Is the SW that comes with board intelligent enough to know that we are using higher voltages than the ones described on ”Table 1. Summary of Performance”
c. There is a note in the datasheet of the EVAL BRD saying “No TI components are authorized for use in FDA Class III”, there are different classes depending on the area, we have this depending on the Area:
i. US it's class II
ii. EU IIb
iii. Canada III
When you say FDA Class III, are you referring to the US Class? Then we would be ok in regards to FDA regulations right?
d. Does the board come with the cables to access jumpers J2,J5,J7,J9,J6,J13? i. If not, do you have the part numbers of those cables?
e. What comes with the EVAL BRD?
